É Professora Auxiliar com Agregação no Departamento de Estudos Portugueses, F.C.S.H.-U.N.L. Fez Mestrado e Doutoramento em Estudos Portugueses – Estudos Literários Comparados. Obteve a Agregação em Estudos Comparatistas – Literatura e Ciberartes. Procurando estabelecer pontes entre as artes e ciências, tem desenvolvido investigação no campo da Humanística Digital (Digital Humanities) nas áreas de interacção homem-máquina, jogos sérios, e-learning,web.2, e narrativa interactiva digital. Ensaísta é também jornalista e tradutora (cv completo aqui).

Helena is Assistant Professor with Aggregation at the Department of Portuguese Studies, F.C.S.H.-U.N.L.                                                 She holds an MA and Ph.D. in Portuguese Studies - Comparative Literary Studies. She obtained her Habilitation in Comparative Studies - Literature and Cyberarts. Looking forward to bridge the arts and sciences, she has developed research in the field of Digital Humanities, mainly in the areas of human-machine interaction, serious games, e-learning, web.2, and interactive digital narrative.
